I have been in touch with AI in the past 4 years and the more times passes, the more I hear "Oh, but AI is not actually smart", instead of "Oh, are you going to save the world?". We realised that AI is not actually smart from the beginning, but now that more people realise this, they somehow want to make us look like a fraud?It's been like this since ever :) It's not AI scientists that claimed AI could "save the world", but the people who did not really understand how it's working.
